I got Stephen Perrine to break his diet. Perrine is the co-author, along with David Zinczenko, of the NY Times Best-Seller, Zero Sugar Diet: The 14 Day Plan to Flatten Your Belly, Crush Savings, and Hep Keep You Lean for Life. My secret weapon? The popovers at one of our favorite restaurants Arlington Club. But it wasn't easy. And no, he did not have dessert.

Steve is one of the leading nutrition experts in the U.S. and so I was thrilled when he agreed to contribute his expertise to "How to be a Financial Grownup". Steve tells our readers not only what to eat for financial success but when to buy which foods and how to spend less for the best product. It is priceless information that has truly benefitted our readers.

Steve's career has centered on helping people improve their physical and emotional health and in particular, their nutrition. He believes that is the foundation of everything- including financial well being.

Steve has big things coming as well. He's working on his next book, Pretty Intense with NASCAR star Danica Patrick. Look for it in January of 2018. It will be a whole-life wellness book with an intense fitness aspect and nutrition plan, based on Danica's personal fitness quest. You can read more at PrettyIntense.com. And for those looking to jump start their New Year fitness plan- Steve has spent the last year writing and developing a highly effective and user-friendly fitness plan.

Also in the works: Better Man, starring CBS Sportcaster Brian Jones and NY GIants Yoga Instructor Gwen Lawrence.

By the way, that's his wife, my dear friend Jennifer Wolff in the photo. Look for her writing in top publications including Dr. Oz The Good Life, Cosmopolitan and Woman's Day!
